Dr. Perry Lee Smith
Therapeutic Optometrist

Lee (originally from Louisiana) has lived in the Pearland area since 1974. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1989. After graduation, the doctors saw a need for an optical in Pearland, and in 1992 opened Pearland Vision Center.
Lee has been an active member of the Pearland Lions Club since 1992. He has been in charge of the club's largest fundraisers and has held every office in the club.
He continues to donate his time to the Alvin and Pearland Head-Start programs doing vision screenings. He has doing these in Alvin since 1996 and in Pearland since the inception of the program. Lee enjoys fishing, fast cars, home-brewing wine, beer, and cheesemaking.

Dr. Elizabeth C. Smith
Therapeutic Optometrist

Elizabeth was born and raised in Kentucky, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville. She moved to Houston in 1985 and graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1990.
Elizabeth has been on three medical mission trips to Belize, Bolivia and Fiji providing vision care and eyeglasses to the underprivileged in those countries.
Elizabeth has a wide variety of hobbies including cross-stitching, quilting, cooking and wine, world travel, Spinning and bicycling. She has completed the MS150 Bike Ride four times and is a Spinning instructor at the Alvin YMCA. Come into the office and see some of her award winning quilts that are on display.
