Johnathan, born and raised in Nederland, Tx has lived in the Houston area for 12 years and recently made Pearland his home. Dr. Brown is also the proud new owner of Pearland Vision Center. Johnathan received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2012 and is also an alumnus of the Aggie class of 2008.
Dr. Brown is board certified in all aspects of Optometry, he enjoys working with everyone in your family from children that need the best possible vision for school to the more mature patient requiring Diabetic eye exams and more. Dr. Brown’s specialties include foreign body removal, contact lens evaluations, and dry eye disease. His professional interests include a specialty in therapeutic glaucoma treatment & future advances in technology. Dr. Brown is able to conduct eye exams in English and Spanish and is eager for his patients to help him gain fluency.
Dr. Brown is married to Dr. Jobeth Brown a local Pediatrician, they have a two beautiful young daughters Isla and Zoe and a cat named Fifi. In his spare time, Johnathan enjoys archery, playing golf and video games. Give us a call to come in and meet the our doc today!
Dr. Shatleh joined Pearland Vision Center in March of 2019. Dr. Mary Shatleh is a Board-Certified Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Shatleh was raised in Pearland, attending Pearland High School. She graduated from the University of Houston Honor’s College in 2008 and went on to receive her Doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2012, where she received several letters of excellence during her clinical rotations. She was trained with a focus on ocular disease, glaucoma and surgical co-management.
Dr. Shatleh has special interests in fitting multifocal contact lenses, refractive surgery co-management(LASIK, Intralase, PRK, and multifocal cataract lens replacement), and providing essential eye care for children. She also routinely diagnoses and manages acute and chronic eye diseases, including ocular trauma, infection, and retinal disease.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Shatleh enjoys spending time with her husband Terry and her daughter Zoe. She also enjoys trying out new recipes, spending time with her large extended family, and staying active in her church community.
